Westmorland Hotel Tebay - Tebay (Cumbria)

Staff were attentive and decent at any hour!!

I really enjoyed this boutique hotel and stayed for 1 night here. I booked an airy room complete with very comfortable bed, deluxe bedding, access off the M6. There was plenty of food for breakfast, it was savoury. Location: the venue was near to restaurant, the pond.

We were given a classic queen room on arrival, it was airy.

just spent a most relaxing and happy evening with bar meal followed next morning by a fantastic breakfast before heading north to Glasgow.

The waiter and waitress service was really poor. The meal was adequate but due to poor service even the beef did not impress.. We would not use the resteraunte again as it was over priced and poor service. The waiters need some training in genuine custermer care, not grovelliing and blaming others for the poor service. Sorry

The room was comfortable and the cleaning trolley blocked our access frequently.

Well planed rooms

Great staff and comfy room, but wifi was a bit tricky at times.

style and cleanliness of rooms,welcoming fire .enjoyed the meal in the restaurant and thought breakfast was very good too. we will be back

because i am an avid reader i would have liked a better light in the bedroom

The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and to find sush a lovely place so near to the motorway seems like a miracle. You would not have known the motorway was there.

Good size very comfortable, clean rooms. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, the food and wine were very good and the service was great.

Although the bed was big it was just two singles pushed together. The service at breakfast was not as good as it was for dinner. There didn't seem to be enough staff on, we waited about 15 minutes just to get a cup of tea.

Like the situation of the hotel and the views. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. We always relax as we come through the door.

we prefer closed wardrobes to put away our clothes, not having everything on display. The bath in room 38 was chipped. Although understandable, it detracted from the ambience of the accommodation.
